It is made of a durable outer material (100% polyester) with buffalo leather reinforcements in the shoulder and elbow areas. The outer layer is made of 600D Polyoxford with leather reinforcements; antiseptic polyester mesh lining with a water barrier. Extended ventilation system with large openings in the chest and back areas, providing optimal airflow for comfort in hot weather. The included solto-TEX® membrane offers water resistance and wind resistance. This versatile high-tech waterproof adventure jacket can be used in all weather conditions. When it's hot, the textile areas on the front and back of the jacket can be zipped off and stored in the lower pockets, revealing areas of 3D-mesh fabric that allows air to flow through. When it's cold and rainy, the optional removable solto-TEX® membrane can be attached to the jacket (sold separately, see Related Products). Safety is guaranteed with shoulder, back and elbow protectors inside the garment as standard. Concealed safety seams and large reflectors provide additional protection. Prototype testing with common test standards includes additional chemical tests on all materials and components, as well as abrasion resistance and tensile strength testing of the fabrics used.
